Myriad POS software module 

The Myriad POS (Point Of Sale) module is software which runs on tills, to allow swift and smooth transactions. It is very easy to use, and creates a rapid flow-through of customers.

Our customers who take advantage of the fully integrated chip and pin also save time, money and space at the counter.  

As well as performing simple tasks without any fuss, POS can also carry out a range of procedures to enhance the customer experience, and encourage bigger spends on a more regular basis. Many of our customers rely on POS to manage some of the potentially tricky aspects of customer focussed retail operations, including:

• Loyalty card/membership schemes and other methods of capturing customer details
• Special orders for items not carried in store
• Part-exchanges/trade-ins 
• Repairs (eg to items of jewellery)
• Deposits and reservations

Myriad POS is designed for use with touchscreens and/or till keyboards. An infinite number of hot keys can be programmed, to quickly process sales for items that aren't barcoded. It will allow mid-transaction user swapping, so that during the busiest periods even a single till can cope with heavy demand.

POS will automatically apply promotion pricing, and discounts for 'special' customer/staff accounts.

Transactions can be multi-tendered by cash, card, cheque, voucher, coupon and account. In a multi-currency situation (eg in an airport store), POS can even automatically calculate the change to be given in any currency. 

As the POS module is an integrated part of the total Myriad EPOS system, all the information associated with a transaction is logged and fed into the back office, where it can be analysed and is used to create reports.  

Despite being packed with features, Myriad POS is a very affordable and reliable software module which is run successfully on hundreds of EPOS tills throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and other countries in Europe.
