Orcus rescues toy shop in a JamHoneyjam

New customer breaks installation record

2nd December 2010

Honeyjam have gone live with the Myriad EPOS system , although this happened a few weeks earlier than expected. Owner Honey Bowdrey had arranged to install the system in January 2011, but needed to bring this date forward urgently when their existing system refused to work after a powercut.

Honey called Orcus just after 10am to see if anything could be done. In under 2 hours Orcus engineers had remotely installed Myriad, and after some brief training the tills were ready to take transactions again.

The Honeyjam store is on Portobello Road in London, and offer toys and games which are a blend of traditional and modern, silly and educational. Set up by Honey and lifelong friend Jasmine (Jam) Guinness in 2006, the shop proved to be an instant success with children and adults alike.
