Shuropody are the largest independent chiropody provider in the UK, with a network of clinics within stores throughout the UK. These stores also offer a range of footwear and footcare products.
Our Myriad EPOS system is installed in all of these stores, with centralised control of the system through head office in Wolston, Warwickshire.
Shuropody grew very quickly - after opening their first store in January 2008, by August of that year they had over 50 stores. This was thanks largely to the acquisition of the Scholl retail chain, which was promptly rebranded with the Shuropody identity.
One of the reasons Shuropody chose our Myriad EPOS system is because it links seamlessly with transactional websites. Their web design team worked with Orcus programmers to create a very appealing site, which includes an extensive range of footwear and footcare products.
One of the key features Shuropody were keen to incorporate was the straighforward listing of the style-based footwear, which have variants of size and colour. The result is a very appealing website which elegantly displays footwear in a way which is easy to switch between sizes and colours.
As the Shuropody website is driven by Myriad WebShop, it is easy for staff at head office to add new products, display new graphics, make price changes etc. These changes take effect instantly, as do changes to stock level. All orders placed on the website are fed directly into the Myriad Sales Order Processing module, which means that picking and despatch is as efficient as it can be.
